It is not clear what is the name of that Microsoft employee who claims that all - so it is not all totally official, but now one can get more understanding of the Microsoft mobility situation in the year 2010:
multi-touch is coming to Windows Mobile 7 - first confirmation from Microsoft!
Windows Mobile 7 will not replace Windows Mobile 6.5 but they will live together whereas 6.5 will be for low-end devices (what? super-expensive HTC Touch Pro2 and Diamond2 are low-end?) and 7 for high-end phones
