Previously Google Maps had capability to show driving directions from point A to point B. Now with version 2.2, available also as native application for Windows Mobile (not Java midlet!), Google adds ability to find transit directions, i.e. which bus or train or other public transport to take, including walking, to get from point A to B!

Example: instead of taking taxi from Reading train station to Microsoft's main campus in UK, one can take bus number 64:
