TEGRA is an all-in-one processor architecture designed for mobile devices such as smartphones and PDAs. The line-up currently consists of the APX 2500, Tegra 600, and Tegra 650 processors. [1]On June 2, 2008, Nvidia officially announced its new Tegra product line [1]. These "computers on a chip" integrate CPU (ARM), GPU, northbridge, southbridge and primary memory functionality onto a single chip. This product is believed to be targeted at the smart phone and mobile internet device sector. The first product to use this chip is scheduled for release toward the end of 2008.
