■High end Windows Mobile device from Palm coming this summer!

There was shocking news on Palm's investor relations conference call this week. The company's revenue declined 24%. However the company announced that their low priced Centro smartphone is outselling any device in the history of the company, and that they are releasing a new high end Windows Mobile device this summer.
We know from earlier company conference calls that high end to Palm means GPS, WiFi and new software. Palm's high end Windows Mobile devices are being manufactured largely by HTC, one of the premier ODM and OEM smartphone manufacturers in the world. HTC informed us that they are not producing a front facing qwerty GPS & WiFi Windows Mobile device under their own brand name, and we wonder if this owes to an agreement with Palm not to directly compete.

ありゃ！4月予定と噂されていた800wは夏の終わり頃に延期のようです。これはCDMA版なのでWCDMA版は年末？
