We have seen the O2 Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone code-named "Helen" first time back in June and as the FCC recently unveiled, it's now called "O2 Xda Denim". Manufactured by Taiwanese Gigabyte, the Xda Denim is O2's latest Windows Mobile smartphone, featuring Windows Mobile 6 Professional and therefore sports a 2.6" touch screen, displaying 65K colors at 240 x 320 pixel. Even more interesting is the slider design and the location of the D-Pad. The 12 key phone pad is between the screen (top) and D-Pad (bottom) and hides if closed which seems to make this device pretty compact:Other features of the O2 Xda Denim are triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE (no 850 MHz support) and singleband (2100 MHz) UMTS/HSDPA as well as Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi b/g. The Xda Denim is powered by a Marvell PXA270 CPU at 520 MHz and features 256 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM which can be extended using microSD memory cards.
On the back, it's featuring a 2 megapixel camera for photos and videos; on the front it has a QVGA camera for UMTS video telephony. At a size of 115 × 55.8 × 18.2 mm the device weights 150 g.

It's not yet known where and when the device is released but a release in Asia and Australia through O2 Asia is most likely. It's unclear if it also comes to O2 Europe or if it's going to hit any other networks as well.
